Avuyile Ndamase officially received a surfboard donated by the O.R. Tambo District Municipality today, as part of a long-term commitment to support his surfing career. The donation follows his homecoming celebration held in Port St. Johns last year.
In his remarks, Ndamase expressed heartfelt gratitude to all stakeholders who have supported him throughout his surfing journey, which has taken him across the world. He also shared his vision of giving back by leading initiatives that educate young people about safe surfing and swimming.
The Mayor of Port St. Johns, Cllr Cebisa Mazuza, highlighted the significance of Avuyile’s achievements, noting that he proudly raises the flag of Port St. Johns, the O.R. Tambo District, and the Eastern Cape Province. His dedication and impact continue to inspire the community.
