POLICY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

  • Permanent
  • Task Grade: 10 (Subject to Job evaluation results)
  • Annual Salary: (R 343 223,52 – R 445 515,59) excluding benefits
  • Stationed at Mthatha
  • Reports to Senior Research and Policy Development Coordinator

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Bachelor’s degree in public administration or equivalent qualification
  • Code EB driving license
  • 02 years’ experience in the policy development environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the Strategic and Operational Plans of the section
  • Coordinates activities associated with conducting, translating and integrating research evidence into policy
  • Contribute to Institutional policy design and review processes
  • Execute tasks associated with the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of institutional policies
  • Contributes to capital and operating estimates and controls
  • Expenditure against the approved budget allocations
  • Coordinates specific activities related administration and reporting and requirements
  • Contributes to stakeholder management and communication processe
