CHIEF            PRACTITIONER        LABOUR        RELATIONS: DISPUTE      RESOLUTION MANAGEMENT COLLECTIVE BARGAIN X01

  • Annual Basic Salary: (R 505 280,98– R655 899,01) excluding benefits
  • Position to be stationed in Mthatha, Eastern Cape
  • Reporting Structure: The post reports to the Manager: Human Resources Management & Labour Relations.  

Minimum Requirements:  

  • 3 -year National Diploma in Labour Relations Management, HRM or Labour Law
  • Post Graduation Diploma in Labour Law Practice will be an added advantage
  • 4- years’ experience in Labour Relations and in a unionized environment.
  • CCMA & SALGBC representation experience is required

Key Performance Areas:

Responsible for providing an employee Relations support services to ORTDM. Responsible to maintain ER practices and systems and ensure compliance to standards, procedures and legal requirements. Give inputs into ER Strategic Plan pertaining to his/her responsibility. Facilitate conflict and dispute resolution of employees at ORTDM. Monitoring, adherence and compliance to legal requirements. Arrange and attend ER related meetings. Accurately compile and submit ER reports to Senior ER Officer. Facilitate disciplinary, appeals and grievance hearings. Responsible for collective Bargaining Processes including Local Labour Forum. Represent the employer and handle dispute resolution processes referred to SALGBC and CCMA. Supervision of Labour Relations Practitioners and providing of support to line manager. Assist in driving the adoption of employee relations documentation and policies by management
