CHIEF RISK OFFICER

- Annual Basic Salary: (R 627 654,55 – R 814 747,45) excluding benefits
- Position to be stationed in Mthatha, Eastern Cape
- Reports to Director Strategic Planning and Governance
Minimum Requirements: Degree in Accounting majoring in Internal Auditing and Risk Management, Certificate in Computer Literacy, registered with Institute of Risk Management South Africa, EB Drivers Licence coupled with 04 Year experience in Risk Management environment at a supervisory level.
Key Performance Areas: Provide leadership and management to the Risk Management Unit of the organisation. Consider accumulative inputs into the sub-sections strategic Plan pertaining to Risk Management Services by the Officers. Consolidate and forwards ideas and plans to the Municipal Manager for further analysis. Monitor input into the sub-Section into Policies, Procedures, and controls pertaining to Risk Management Services. Monitoring the implementation of fraud prevention initiatives as well as the implementation of internal control strategies to mitigate fraud, give feedback and guidance. Responsible for obtaining, monitoring and managing the Risk Management to Risk Management services. Defining/ adjusting and monitoring the role boundaries, workflow process and job design against laid down services delivery requirements and statutory requirements. Monitor the contribution into the subsection stakeholder management and communication processes. Monitor the administration and reporting requirements of the Risk Management Services functionality.
