COUNCIL & COMMITTEE SUPPORT OFFICER

  • Permanent
  • Task Grade: 07 (Subject to Job evaluation results)
  • Annual Salary: (R 240 487,79 – R 312 136,61) excluding benefits
  • Stationed at Mthatha
  • Reports to Senior Council & Committee Officer

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • National Diploma in Public Administration
  • Code EB driving license
  • 02 years’ experience in the relevant field

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates activities associated with strategic and operational plans of the sub-section
  • Performs specific tasks or activities associated with the provision of administrative support to Councillors
  • Provides secretarial support to Councillors of the Legislature
  • Implement the administrative and reporting requirements of the functionality Councillor Support Services
  • Delivering inputs towards efficient and effective audit processes pertaining to sub-section
  • Contributes to capital and operating estimates and controls expenditure against the approved budget allocations
  • Coordinates stakeholder management and communication of the sub-section
