  • Annual Basic Salary: (R 405 175,50 – R 525 942,27) excluding benefits
  • Position to be stationed in Mthatha, Eastern Cape
  • Reports to GIS Assistant Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

  • National Diploma in Geographic information Science or Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information Science and Remote sensing.
  • Registration as Technician or Technologies with Geomatics Profession will be an added advantage
  • 03 years of experiment in the relevant field in the local government sphere

Minimum Requirements:

  • Contribute to the sub-section’s Strategic Planning
  • Contribute to the sub-section’s policies’ procedures, systems and controls
  • Perform effective GIS Technician duties
  • Perform specific applications associated with preparation, updating and processing of data from hardcopy and digital sources for O.R. Tambo District geographical area
  • Contribute to the overall sub-section’s budget
  • Contribute to the sub-section’s Stakeholder Management
  • Fulfil the administrative and reporting requirements of the functionality GIS Support Services
  • Contributing to efficient and effective GIS Support Services audit processes.
