Qualifications
- National Diploma in Industrial Psychology Social Science/ Psychology or an equivalent qualification in a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in performance management, human resources, or a related
- Proficiency in relevant labor laws, performance management frameworks, and municipal policies.
- Computer proficiency, including MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Key Performance Areas:
- Implementation of Performance Management System: Facilitate the implementation of the municipality’s performance management system and ensure it aligns with key performance indicators and strategic objectives.
- Monitoring & Evaluation: Monitor the performance of individual employees, ensuring regular evaluation and the generation of performance reports.
- Capacity Building: Conduct training and workshops for staff on performance management processes, targets, and outcomes.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure all performance management processes comply with the OR Tambo District Municipality’s policies and legal requirements.
- Departmental Support: Offer technical and advisory support to departments on performance management processes and assist with troubleshooting any related challenges.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain an accurate and comprehensive database of all performance management activities, including performance agreements, reviews, and feedback.
