MANAGER: COMMUNICATION & INTER-GOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS

- Task Grade: 16 (Subject to Job Evaluation results)
- Annual Basic Salary: (R 738 492,15 – R 958 591,89) excluding benefits
- Position to be stationed in Mthatha, Eastern Cape
- Reports to Director Strategic Planning and Governance
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12
- NQF Level 07 B. Degree in Communication/Journalism/Public Relations/Management
- Code EB Driver’s License
- Certificate in Computer Literacy
- 4 years’ relevant experience.
Key Performance Areas:
- Manages the immediate, short- and long-term objectives relating to the operational and strategic plans associated with the provision and support services of Communication.
- Manages the Key Performance Indicator’s and outcomes of personnel within the Section.
- Manages capital and operating estimates and controls expenditure against the approved sectional budget allocations.
- Manages the administrative and reporting requirements of the Section Communication.
- Manages efficient and effective sectional audit processes.
- Manages the implementation and Development of specific Communication and IGR procedures, systems and controls
- Manages Communication Stakeholder Management and Communication.
- Manages Production and Media Management.
- Manages the alignment of District IGR with SALGA and SALGBC
- Manages Community Outreach, Branding and Marketing.
