  • Position to be stationed in Mthatha, Eastern Cape
  • Reports to M&E Supervisor

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 with Maths and Science
  • NQF 3 Electrical and Mechanical Qualification
  • Millwright Trade Test certificate/ Red Seal (Compulsory)
  • Code EB Driver’s license
  • Computer Literacy
  • 3-years’ experience as a Millwright gained in the water industry (water & sanitation)
  • General Operational and Maintenance experience in electrical and mechanical fields
  • Operation and Maintenance of water purification and distribution equipment

Key Performance Areas:

  • Monitors activities associated with strategic and operational plans of the sub-section
  • Coordinates the key performance areas and outcomes associated with the section
  • Contributes to preparation for capital and operating estimates and controls expenditure against the approved budget allocation
  • Coordinates administrative and reporting requirements associated with the sectional functionality
  • Coordinates stakeholder management and communication od the sub-section
