Department: Strategic Planning and Governance

  • Attached to the Term of Council/ Linked to the Political Office Bearer whichever comes first
  • Task Grade: 07
  • Total Package: R 352 589.11 – R 433 856.07 (All inclusive)
  • Position to be stationed in Mthatha, Eastern Cape
  • Reporting Structure: The post reports to the Chief of Staff

Minimum Requirements:

  • ND in Public Administration/Public Management/ Office Management & Technology/equivalent
  • Certificate in Customer Care will be an added advantage
  • Certificate in Computer Literacy
  • Code EB Driver’s License
  • 01-year relevant experience

Key Performance Areas: Providing support to the departments and broader Municipality Strategic Planning Sessions. Contributing to the implementation of specific services procedures, systems and controls.  Providing personal support to the Director Superior.  Contributing to the overall budget, stakeholder management and communication. Maintaining and access records of discussions, instructions and correspondence.
