SENIOR INTERNAL AUDITOR

  • Permanent
  • Task Grade: 13 (Subject to Job Evaluation results)
  • Annual Basic Salary: (R 512 860.19 – R665 737. 49) excluding benefits
  • Position to be stationed in Mthatha, Eastern Cape
  • Reports to Manager Internal Audit

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Degree in Internal Audit
  • Registered as Member of the IIA
  • Driver’s license
  • 3 years’ experience in Auditing environment

Key Performance Areas:

  • Attending to MPAC requests, ad hoc Council committee assignments and Local Municipalities ad hoc request processes
  • Leading & conducting audit value adding activities
  • Contributing to the section’s stakeholder management and communication processes
  • Leading and conducting audit assignments based on the approved risk-based plan, under the supervision of the immediate superior, to provide assurance on the effectiveness of risk management internal controls, governance processes and advisory services
  • Contributing to the strategic and operational plans of the section
  • Contributing to the internal Audit Financial and Asset Management
  • Reviewing internal audit policies, procedures, systems and controls
  • Contributing to the section’s administration and reporting processes
  • Contributing to auditing planning activities.
