  • Reports to Engineering Technician

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • NTC 04 Water and waste – water treatment Certificate or equivalent qualification,
  • Trade Tested Artisan (Plumbing),
  • Certificate in Computer Literacy,
  • EB Driver’s License coupled with 3 Years’ experience in Local Government environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct tasks associated with the provision of Water Services (WSP) within a Local Municipality to ensure Water Provision Services are rendered to consumers as per laid down policies and procedures.
  • Direct input into the subsection’s Strategical plan pertaining to WSP Services.
  • Direct inputs into the subsection’s Policies, Procedures and Controls pertaining to WSP Services.
  • Directs effective WSP in the region. Oversee inputs into the sub-section’s Financial and Asset Management pertaining to WSP Services.
  • Direct and controls the Key Performance Indicator’s and outcomes of personnel within the Sub – Section.
  • Direct the sub-sections Stakeholder and Communication Processes.
  • Direct the administrative and reporting requirements of the functionality WSP Services.
  • Direct inputs towards efficient and effective audit processes pertaining to WSP Services.
