FIRE FIGHTERS X04 (PERMANENT)

  • Task Grade: 06 (Subject to Job Evaluation outcomes)
  • Annual Salary: (R 186 622,46 – R 242 249,45)
  • Stationed at Mthatha
  • Reports to Senior Fire Fighter

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 11
  • Fire Fighter Certificate 1
  • First Aid Certificate Level 1
  • Code C1 Driving License with PrDP
  • 1 year in the relevant field

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carries out fire-fighting activities and emergency operations
  • Prepares for emergency incidents and fire protection activities
  • Applies machine operations and maintenance according to certification guidelines
  • Implements efficient financial and asset management activities
  • Performs basic administrative and reporting functions associated with firefighting
  • Interacts with relevant stakeholders with matters pertaining to firefighting activities
